Here's a short grab of what went down when the collaboration process got under way.
Pump20 Collection pt.3
Boston's Bodega sneaker stoop produces an all weather- combat boot for their urban jungle design of Reebok's Pump. Sporting all the goods to protect yourself from city street grime and lacquer, the Bodega packaging is sublime in theming itself this time, the "Outback" Pump.
More: The military inspired “Outback” is made up of soft nubuck leather contrasted by canvas and subtle reflective materials. Lots of small details such as trek laces, a mesh tongue, and dog/hang tags are featured on the shoe. As with the other releases in this campaign, the sneakers are individually numbered and limited to 31 pairs. To further accentuate the uniqueness of this release, each shoe is packaged in military spec ammo cases and comes with a collaborative t-shirt.

Provider trainers in Melbourne, a store that I hold some personal affinity with for gaining my individual insight into sneakers and the desired culture, is moving on - selling the store (the memories and people will be missed).

Pump20 Collection pt.2
Next up is a little unflattering domain of French chic LaMJC by the Colette store, Paris.
In an aesthetic reminiscent of Japanese designs of recent (the Adidas AZX design by VA), The french idea I believe, is poorly materialized into the wrong collaboration. But considering the number of stores, I guess someone had to do the whole thing in fabrique a la sweatpants. The splatter pattern is the only bonus amongst the massive Pump tongue adorned in the comforting fabric. Something unique about that.

German sneakerhaus Solebox, true aficionados of collaboration, have produced a reebok Pump with thought and technical application. From Glow in the dark accents, to Neoprene materials, memory foam collar and a light-up Pump logo plus much much more, this is true german precision and innovation meeting a sporting product. All in the name of "why not?".

Before I try my hand at my own Shoes Today experiment, I thought I'd Blog a series of upcoming sneaker releases.
With Big news that Reebok is celebrating its 20th anniversary of the genius PUMP technology, something that for history's sake was larger than Nike itself at inception, It comes by no surprise celebrations will take the form of numerous name Sneaker stores around the globe taking part in a collaborative design process, The Pump20 collection. To commend Reebok and the PUMP technology all in one, the PUMP Bringback retro will be repackaged with unique colour-ways designed by stores that not only include Australia's own sydney side Espionage but personal favorites, HUF, Solebox, SeakersNStuff and AlifeRivingitionClub (to name a few).
Here's a Quick look at the retro model in its OG CW (also to be released).
